Everyone at The Lamproom Theatre is really looking forward to welcoming you back to live theatre!
We have listed below, the various changes and measures introduced to ensure the safety of all visitors, staff and volunteers.
All tickets MUST be booked in advance of the show that you wish to attend in one of the following ways:-
Via our website www.barnsleylamproom.com
By calling the box office on 01226 200075 from 10am – 2.30pm, Monday to Friday
In person at the Box Office from 10am to 2.30pm, Monday to Friday
ARRIVING AT THE THEATRE
We will have clear one-way systems in place when you enter the building allowing you to get to and from your seats, and our staff will be on hand to assist and advise throughout your visit.
ADDITIONAL CLEANING AND SAFETY PROCEDURES
Our already high cleaning standards have been enhanced by a cleaning programme designed to clean and sanitise the high touch points within the theatre for staff and public areas. Disinfectant fogging of the auditorium to sanitise all seats will take place on a regular basis.
TOILETS AND HAND HYGIENE
Toilets will be available but on a one in, one out basis.
Hand sanitising stations are in place throughout The Lamproom for staff and visitors.
All toilets have been stocked with anti-bacterial hand soap, and stringent hand washing guidelines are in place.
REDUCED CAPACITY AND SOCIAL DISTANCING
We have reduced our capacity within the theatre, allowing us to seat parties together but in a configuration that respects social distancing. We will review our capacity regularly to work in accordance with public health guidance.
Social Distancing measures will be implemented across all areas for patrons, staff and performers.
DRINKS AND ICE CREAMS
You will be able to pre-order drinks and ice creams when you book your tickets. The bar will NOT be open at any time before, during or after the performance and your pre-order items will be brought to your seats by our staff during the interval. You will NOT be able to purchase drinks or ice creams other than when you book your tickets.
In light of recent advice from the Government and Local Public Health Authorities, all customers will be required to wear a face mask/covering when entering The Lamproom Theatre. Unfortunately, there will not be any exceptions to this ruling – if you are exempt from wearing a face covering we would ask you NOT to attend The Lamproom at the present time as unfortunately we will not be able to admit you.
We know that any concentration of virus in indoor air can be reduced by bringing fresh outdoor air in to the building so we will keep doors and windows open front of house where appropriate.
HEALTH ASSESSMENTS AND NHS TRACK & TRACE
Please DO NOT visit The Lamproom Theatre if you have any symptoms of Covid-19. You will find the QR code for the NHS track & trace app displayed around the theatre. You will need to download the NHS COVID-19 app from the app store on your smart device to be able to scan the code. Upon scanning the code you will register the date and time that you are at The Lamproom Theatre, once this is done there is nothing more for you to do. For more information visit www.covid19.nhs.uk.
