Useful Information for Barnsley Theatre visitors

Car Parking: A large free car park is available after 6pm and is situated just across the road from the theatre.

Wheelchair Users: The Lamproom has full disabled access for up to four wheelchairs as well as disabled toilet facilities. These spaces must be booked well in advance and are subject to availability.

Sight Impaired: Guide dogs are welcome and we will be pleased to provide a bowl of water on request.

Theatre Bar: The Bar is open for pre-preformance drinks 45 minutes before each performance. Interval drinks can be ordered in advance and the bar is also open at the conclusion of each performance.
The Lamproom Theatre bar is available for hire on non-performance days. Please contact the Theatre Manager for details and availability (01226 200075).

Latecomers: You may be asked to wait for a suitable moment in the performance before taking your seat.

Cancellations: The information on this website is believed to be correct at the time of issue.
We endeavour to update this site as often as possible, and will try to post details of any performances that have to be postponed or cancelled for any unforseen circumstances. However, to ensure correctness, please contact the Lamproom directly.

In order to protect the staff, volunteers and patrons of The Lamproom from second-hand smoke, a decision has been made that with effect from JANUARY 1st 2005 the theatre will be A SMOKE-FREE ESTABLISHMENT.

The only exception to this will be on the rare occasion when it is required that an actor smokes on-stage as part of a production.
