FREE THEATRE TICKETS FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

‘A NIGHT LESS ORDINARY’ IS WEDNESDAY NIGHT IN BARNSLEY!

The Lamproom is offering twenty tickets each week for performances on Wednesday, meaning that over a two year period approximately one thousand free tickets will be given out to young people.

• Q. How will tickets be allocated?
  A. Tickets will be allocated on a first come-first served basis, to a maximum of twenty, for the productions listed. Each person wishing to obtain a ticket must produce evidence of their date of birth at the time of booking.
• Q. What if I go with an older friend/my parents who pay, will we all sit together?
  A. If you book at the same time, you should be able to sit together, subject to seat availability.
• Q. Can I bring my school group?
  A. Not using this initiative, but we encourage schools to encourage their students to organise their own independent visits.
• Q. How far in advance can I get my free ticket?
  A. For each season during the initiative, tickets will go on sale at the same time as the general public. You will be placed on the theatre mailing list and receive information about forthcoming productions at the same time as the general public.
• Q. What happens if I don't use my free ticket?
  A. The Lamproom reserves the right to refuse to issue future free tickets to young people who have booked and do not attend a production. If you cannot attend a production that you have booked for, please contact the Box Office in advance and arrange to return it so that someone else can use it.
