Barnsley’s Lamproom Theatre is delighted to have been selected as one of thirty five theatres to be awarded a £10,000 grant as part of an Arts Council Initiative which offers free theatre tickets to young people between the ages of sixteen and twenty six.

The Lamproom is offering twenty tickets each week for performances on Wednesday, meaning that over a two year period approximately one thousand free tickets will be given out to young people.

‘A Night Less Ordinary’ is an Arts Council England Scheme which will provide 618,000 free theatre tickets to anyone under twenty six in more than two hundred venues across England, between February 2009 and March 2011.

Anyone wishing to obtain free tickets must register at The Lamproom Theatre.
